Ben Richards is a travel and architectural photographer based in Tokyo, Japan and working worldwide.

Combined with his passion for travel, Ben’s near-decade of experience working in design and creative direction constantly informs his visual storytelling style and editorial approach. More recently he can be found in remote locations all across Asia.
From tourism boards and leading hospitality brands to global publications and award-winning architects, Ben has built a diverse list of clients, and his work can be seen on the pages of Condé Nast Traveller, The New York Times and The Monocle Book of Japan.
Ben has extensive experience in luxury hotel and resort photography. Channelling his strong appreciation for local cultures and well-trained eye for design, he tells visual stories for brands including Aman, Ritz Carlton and Park Hyatt.
